Community Promise Federal Credit Union
Designed as a piece for society…
The project began by creating a number of different themes/logos. While each logo shared the theme of “togetherness” and “community”, the final logo was favored by the company as being more humanistic. I designed a number of media applications that can be applied to real daily use products for the company.
The project’s main goal was to create a cohesive visual identity system for Community Promise Federal Credit Union, an actual company located in Kalamazoo, MI.
The audience for this Visual Identity System is not only the board members and workers at Community Promise Federal Credit Union, but it is also the members of the community who patronize and use the services the credit union offers.
The concept for this project was to maintain the defined theme based on the target market across the system of design.
The challenge for this project was to maintain a cohesive color scheme throughout the system while making each media application visually interesting. Additionally, it was a challenge to interpret the differences between the wants and needs of the company’s board for design purposes.
