Milk Magazine
Designed as a piece for the people…
The audience for this publication is over-25s with a youthful outlook and state of mind. They likely have a high level of disposable income and desire to keep up to date with music of the alternative persuasion.
I began this project by creating magazines for five distinguishable themes; music, fashion, art, culture, and food. I then decided I was most comfortable with a music magazine. I then continued working more effectively with the project by bringing in aspects of my other ideations.
The goal of this project was to create a more contemporary look for a magazine while still providing the material a magazine about music traditionally would. The concept of this project was to maintain the defined theme across the publication spreads and cover while developing visual interest in the targeted area. My strength with this project was maintaining a theme throughout the entire publication. The pages are cohesive and visually look like they come from the same publication.
